In my time as a full stack developer and entrepreneur I have worn many hats, from server side application programmer and database architect to product manager and working in partnership with clients to solve business problems. 15 years ago I co-founded a company that creates grassroots fundraising solutions for nonprofits. At the time grassroots fundraising was new to the technology and nonprofit world, and I’m proud to say our innovative product helped organizations raise over $200 million. I love the puzzle-like aspect of programming and pride myself on my track record for hard work and being able to take an idea, run with it, and deliver a product that has consistently delighted my clients.
Architect and lead developer of our flagship platform, SWEET, which has been used by hundreds of nonprofit organizations to raise over $200,000,000.
Executed a variety of roles and functions to help grow the business, including brand design, product management, business development, and strategic planning.
Collaborated with clients to develop their online fundraising strategy and KPIs.
Managed, mentored, and trained junior developers and contractors.
Built enterprise level applications for fundraising, social networking, and charity event management that include:
Partnered with fundraising and marketing departments to create a multi-tiered online presence.
Led the development of the organization's ground breaking online grassroots fundraising platform, adding vital revenue stream and constituent engagement resources for the company.
Helped build and maintain a proprietary Laboratory Information Management System for use by scientists.
Led the development of a fully-featured online-dating application
Built and maintained the company's two marketing websites and partnered with the event management and match-making teams to provide them with key technology resources
